Douglas’s story seems to be torn right out the book of possibilities. With her undeniable talent, 4’11 frame and smile that links this nation, I am proud to say that I am and forever will be inspired by her accomplishments.
And to her Mother, Natalie Hawkins, who risked missing monumental moments in her child’s life for an outcome that she believed would surface. She should also be acknowledged and thanked for instilling immaculate characteristics in her daughter,Gabrielle Douglas.
